MALAYSIAN-SWISS PARTNERSHIP SEALED THROUGH KYBUN, SWISS HEALTH & FITNESS TECHNOLOGY

Kuala Lumpur, May 23, 2012: Malaysian company, J Nine International Sdn Bhd has partnered Kybun AG of Switzerland to become the exclusive distributor for the KYBUN brand of footwear and products covering five South-East Asian countries of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Indonesia.

 

Mr Karl Muller, the founder of Kybun AG, was in Kuala Lumpur to attend the opening of Kybun’s second outlet in Malaysia at Publika Solaris, together with directors Ms Janine Chacko, Mr John Chacko and Mr Jesse Tan Chin Sin. The sole partnership covers importing, distributing and retailing of the Kybun brand of products for these countries.

 

Explained director Ms Janine Chacko, “In Malaysia, there are already two outlets, one in Cheras and now here in this popular retail mall. The third outlet will be in Penang, with the location yet to be finalised and expected second half of 2012.

 

“We are looking towards adding on three more outlets in strategic market centres, nationwide, by next year. Cost to set up each outlet averaging around 500 sq feet is around RM300,000.

 

“For Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand, J Nine International has partnered with individuals for local contribution and content, customer and retail insights, and commitment in its overall business mission on a 49:51% equity structure. Singapore opened its first outlet this month and is situated at Pickering Street, China Square,” added Ms Chacko.

 

Kybun was invented by Mr Karl Muller, who also invented the famous MBT some 16 years ago, which revolutionised the technique of walking. And with Kybun, the applications and health benefits are even better.

 

Kybun’s technology revolves around comfort for the feet which then translates to overall better health and wellness.
