The traditions of Chinese New Year will not be complete without visiting family and friends and what better way to bring a smile to the faces of your hosts than bearing a BRAND’S® hamper full of nutritious goodness. 
 
With the Year of the Dragon fast approaching, BRAND’S® is making the festivities more meaningful and joyous with its Chinese New Year goodies by offering special hampers and gift boxes, an exciting consumer contest and a star-studded advertising campaign featuring veteran actress Lai Meng and the beautiful Chris Tong Bing Yu; radio personality and actor, Chan Fong; and singers and actors Aric Ho and Henley Hii. The line-up is completed with multi-talented BRAND’S® ambassador Rynn Lim. 
 
From now while stocks last, special BRAND’S® Chinese New Year hampers and gift packs will be on sale nationwide for consumers to purchase as gifts when they go visiting relatives and friends. Consumers can choose from 5 choices of 20 to 22-bottle hampers priced between RM108 – RM278; two options of 10 or 15-bottle gift boxes priced at RM58.80 and RM78.80 respectively; or opt for its latest offering, the BRAND’S® Royal Superior Bird’s Nest which retails at RM138 for a 5 x 70g bottle pack.
 
The special range come in a varied combination of the company’s top selling products – BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken, BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken with Cordyceps, BRAND’S® Bird’s Nest with Rock Sugar, InnerShine® Berry Essence – offering consumers plentiful choices to buy that special something for loved ones.
 
Adding to the festivities, consumers will be able to take part in an online contest where they can win limited edition autographed gift boxes by the six popular celebrities fronting the brand’s advertisements. Details can be found on BRAND’S® Smart Living Facebook page and runs from 26 December 2011 until 20 January 2012.

While the Lunar New Year is a time for celebration, there is no respite from the hardships of life suffered by the less fortunate. To ease their daily struggle BRAND’S® returns with its annual charity initiative, “Gift of Love”, as part of its New Year campaign. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the festive BRAND’S® gift packs and hampers will be channeled to Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled, Pertubuhan Keluarga Orang-Orang Bermasalah Pembelajaran (PERKOBP), and the Educare programme initiated by Yayasan Maha Karuna. 
 
Since its inception in 2007, the “Gift of Love” campaign has raised a total of almost RM94,000 and over the years, the recipients of this community programme have used the extra funds to continue their noble work.
