 What children’s participation means;
 Practical ways of involving children in meaningful participation;

I had just completed a session with 17-year old Julie who suffered from severe depression. Julie believed she was a total failure and would never be able to change anything in her life. Julie also felt all her shortcomings were her own fault.

Tooth Fairy

December 10, 2011  | Posted in Parenting/Child Development |  Post a comment  |   Share Article |

The tooth fairy is a tale to tell children what happens when they lose a tooth. Typically, children at the age of 6 will start to lose their milk teeth. They are naturally anxious about losing their tooth and some bleeding may cause them sleepless nights.

Hence, the tooth fairy will come and give some tooth money in exchange for a tooth that has fallen out. Such a story tends to make children happier, smiling ear to ear even when they have missing teeth! Aren’t they adorable!
